Shawn Elson
Shawn Elson has over 12 years experience in user experience
research and design. He is the principal of Elson User Experience.
His long list of clients includes Yahoo, eBay, Motorola, Microsoft,
Netscape, VeriSign, Charles Schwab, and Trend Micro. Shawn
has remotely developed products and visited to work directly
with product teams in China. His experiences traveling in
Asia and his connections with the culture and fledgling usability
community in China led him to launch China Path Research in
2005. Shawn holds an MS in Information Design from Georgia
Tech and a BA in English from Tufts University.
Marsha
Yang, Ph.D.
Dr. Marsha Yang has over 10 years of research and design experience
in the areas of human-computer interaction, usability, and
user interface design. Marsha has an extensive record managing
user experience researchers, user interface designers, and
technical writers. Her management of user experience projects
with teams in both the US and China has led to many successful
product releases. In addition, she has broad connections with
the usability community in China. Marsha holds a PhD in Human
Computer Interaction from Purdue Unviersity and a BS in Engineering
from Tsinghua University in Beijing.
